This is only fair to ante up after my "2021 Aspirant Summer Reading List", which can be found here:

(I am for this index using what I term "sentimental summer", i.e., the full calendar months of June, July, August. I'm not going with the actual astronomer's defintion as the period between a particular equinox and solstice, sorry, it just doesn't sit with me.)
Since the first volume, "A Lonely Man", was begun in late May but finished --- in a day's lustrous sequence of by a pool; while starting to cook dinner; right before and after having a quick rinse --- at the first week of June, we'll put it on the list.
Some data. I only read 26 measley books, which is about half that filled the aspirant index, ah well. Also: only five titles from that first list were actually consumed. Such is life.
