Monsters of Rock - Page 3

The 'Monsters of Rock' festival held at Donington Park, Castle Donington, UK most years from 1980 until 1996 was the go to festival for every metalhead, headbanger, greaser, biker, punk and misfit of the time. A one day festival/party of epic proportions, though we often partied for three days or more! The final two years it lost the banner of Monsters of rock, but to us it was still that and we assumed the original moniker would return, but alas no.
Yes it moved to Milton Keynes for a year and returned to Donington as 'Download' a multi-day festival, but to most of us it was never the same again.
Personally I only managed to attend six years, so wish I had done them all, anyway, how many of these bands have you ever seen perform live?
