Michael's Favorite Movies Set in the Midwest

As a lifelong resident of the Midwest, I used to hate being from here, but now I really appreciate it. There's more diversity of backgrounds and opinions than for which we're given credit. The range of themes and characters of these movies exhibit that. There's a common sense and decency to Midwesterners. Some of these movies (eg, The Natural and The Hudsucker Proxy) are about Midwesterners transplanted to New York, but keep their values.
