Martin's 100 Favourite Movies

I think a great movie is a great script that has been honoured (and occasionally enhanced) in the filmmaking. Great performances are great, great camerawork is great, great production values are great, but - for me - these things are all secondary to script. And unlike novels, where if the writing is good enough, I don't need any narrative at all, in movies story counts.
