Markd9528's Real Books Challenge

This is the current state of play of our home library of paper non-technical books. A compact but fairly balanced collection, perhaps typical of a 21st century home inhabited by an ancient academic and a late teen young woman. Mostly classic fiction, children's, YA, humour, drama & general non-fiction.
Of special interest, please follow the link to marvel at those of my list challenges I have persuaded my daughter to complete (5 out of 394 lists as at May, 2020).
Non-fiction works have been largely limited to those that are relatively well-known and/or might have broad appeal. Books for very young children excluded.
