Markd9528's Q1 2022 TBR (Forced Classics and Gifts Edition)

These are books I MUST read in the first 3 months of 2022. The first 3 are gifts that I received many months ago. The remainder are classics that, at least in my case, will require considerable focus, having failed repeatedly to get beyond a few pages. So only 5 books per month on average.
The perfect excuse to avoid the oppressively hot and humid COVID-festering Australian urban environment at the start of the year! And I promise I'm not going to subdivide my 2022 TBR any further.
