Literary References in Words in Deep Blue

Words in the Deep Blue by Cath Crowley is an Australian young adult novel with TONS of references to different authors and books. I'm sure there are references that I missed, and I wasn't sure what to do about all the times authors were mentioned but not specific works by them. I ended up only including the works that are directly mentioned. (So like, the book mentions Flannery O'Connor but not anything specific by her, so none of her books are on here.)
