Lit Loving Librarian's One Read and One to Read

I notice a lot of these types of lists lately and thought it was a neat idea so here is my list of one book I've read by an author and one book I've not read by the same author. Warning: this is heavy on historical fiction as that is what I read exclusively for about a decade. Thought the list would be longer but there are quite a few authors I've read everything they've written.
