List of Telugu Hit Movies in 2023 (Upto April)

Based on the total box office share collections and profits, Balagam witnessed the highest profit percentage. It's profit is 8 times the distributors' investment. It's stilling running in some towns in Telangana state. The second and third most profitable movie are Writer Padmabhushan and Dhanush's dual language film Sir (Vaathi in Tamil). The distributors of both these movies witnessed a profit of 4 times their investment.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya stood as a blockbuster during Sankranti festival by crossing the breakeven by a margin of 162%. Distributors of Waltair Veerayya earned a profit of 49 crores in it's full run. Balayya Babu's Veera Simha Reddy also tasted a success during the Sankranti season, with very thin profi share of 5 crores. Vaarasudu landed as an average movie by crossing it's breakeven in Telugu language by just 4 lakh rupees.
Small budget movies like Das Ka Dhamki, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha witnessed more than 150% returns for the distributors.
