It is said that, in the right hands, any subject can make an interesting documentary, and some of the entries on this list lay as testament to that, with stories about pet cemeteries, mail trains and the inner workings of the US state legislature. Documentaries can tackle serious issues, they can give insight into the incredible lives of incredible people, they can be fun and they can be emotionally draining. I found all of the documentary films on this list fascinating, and if you haven't seen them all I recommend you give them a try.
