Kill Bill: An Unofficial Casebook

From the book of the same name by D.K. Holm, which was "an attempt to identify all the moments of the film in which Tarantino took inspiration from other films." Admittedly, some of these are just his guesses.
The takeaway is that there isn't a single original moment in either of the Kill Bill movies. Except MAYBE when the swordsmith writes "Bill" in the fog on the window. That's IT.
(Besides the idea, brilliant execution, and darned entertaining filmmaking.)
Note the presence of Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and From Dusk Till Dawn. Tarantino stole from himself, too.
