July 2021 TBR by D.K

My favorite book read in June was a short one, a CIA guide on intelligence work called A Tradecraft Primer, probably because I like writing mysteries (pen name). Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes, and Batman techniques covered, under different names. Looking forward most to Dr. Faustroll, I think? I've started it. It is SUCH a weird book. Surrealist Alfred Jarry turns all his friends and enemies in the surrealism writing world of 1890s not so much into monsters as destinations, to be toured by copper sieve. Found it on one of the HiLowBrow adventure lists. Slow reading, but good. Wish me luck on life slowing down enough to read more books!
