Journey Across the History of Cinema (JATHOC) - Lots of Obscure Movies

This is a challenge I've been doing for myself since August 2021, and just finished in May 2022. It involves watching a film released in every year from any year before 1930 to the present year. For example, I started with 1925 as an excuse to watch The Phantom of the Opera.
At least 95% of the films used must be first-time watches. I used this challenge as an excuse to watch a ton of movies I had been wanting to see for a while, such as catching up on famous directors' filmographies.
You do not have to watch the films in chronological order, but your oldest film "starting point" must be before 1930. And just appreciate all the advancements and evolutions film has gone through in the past century (whether they were good or bad). It's quite the journey!
Also, because there are some movies that have weird release dates based on festivals or limited releases, I used IMDb as my consistent source of release date for each movie in this challenge.
