Janicza Bravo's Top 10 Movies

Janicza Bravo is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. She was raised on an army base in Panama City and studied directing and design for theater at NYU before mounting plays in the U.S. and abroad. Her film work has screened at AFI, BAM, Carnegie Hall, Sundance, SXSW, and Tribeca. Most recently, she directed an episode of the acclaimed FX series Atlanta, created by Donald Glover. Bravo's previous short films include Eat, Woman in Deep, and Gregory Go Boom, which received the grand jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Her feature film Lemon made its world premiere at Sundance.
