Most of the movies on here are similar to each other, but obviously aren't going to be 100% the same. Also keep in mind that just because a movie has a similar plot or premise that doesn't mean the one that came after is "bad", often times when this happens, it may have not even been intentional.
Rules for the list:
* The twin movies MUST be from a different series, so no sequels since sequels share the same fictional world with each other, so naturally they are going to be a pretty similar
* No reboots/remakes since the whole point is to have the same premise, sometimes with some modern twists
* They can't be made by the same director or written by the same guy, since writers and directors tend to do similar stories sometimes
