It Came From Hollywood! - Page 3

The following films were all featured in the 1982 documentary "It Came from Hollywood" a sort of early "Mystery Science Theatre 3000". Cheech & Chong, Gilda Radner, Dan Aykroyd & the late great John Candy introduced various clips from craptacular sci-fi b movies, horrible musicals(there's a have to see to believe clip of people-even children!-in blackface), teens out of control and awful anti-drug films. A few movies are actually pretty good like the original "The Day the Earth Stood Still"(not the bad Keanu Reeves remake) & "The Creature from the Black Lagoon". The 1966 tv movie "Bat Men of Africa" was edited from the 1936 serial "Darkest Africa". Couldn't get a pic for 1944 short "Musical Movieland". So if you're a fan of rotten rubber monster suits, enjoy. This film is not currently available on DVD.
