If the Movie Poster's Yellow, It's a Screwball Comedy - Page 5

It's no surprise these movie posters are yellow. For comedies, the theaters want you to walk in already smiling. Yellow is the go-to happy color. Some take it a bit too far and plaster yellow on top of yellow (e.g. 'The Bee Movie') It's rare though to see yellow posters for serious Dramas (I'm looking at you 'To Kill a Mockingbird') but it's extremely effective if you want the audience to feel betrayed by the movie's conclusion.
