Some of the best scenes in movies are usually unscripted. Those unplanned moments where those who don't have lines improvise
and the rest who forget their lines. This list features great movies where the characters improvised. They're in no particular order. A few examples:
In Pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow's jar of dirt scene.
In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry and Ron take Polyjuice Potion and sneak into the Slytherin common room, Malfoy asks why Harry is wearing glasses. Harry says that they were reading glasses, and Tom Felton forgot his lines. Instead he said, "I didn't know you could read."
In the Dark Knight, the hospital scene was improvised due to the explosives not working properly.
In the Shining, "Here's Johnny"
In Pretty Woman, Richard Gere snaps a jewelry box on Julia Roberts fingers which makes her laugh.
