Golden Shell for Best Film Winners (San Sebastian International Film Festival)

If you are an optimistic person, like I used to be, and believe that a movie that wins a prestigious award should be at least not annoying, then you probably haven't seen The Greatest Show on Earth (Oscars) or Wild at Heart (Cannes). Of course, time and context of the awarding should be taken into consideration, and who am I, a self-proclaimed movie connoisseur, to say if a movie is good or bad? All I can say is that I really enjoyed the few movies I've seen from this list, I felt they had powerful poetry in them, and that they were non formulaic and quite haunting. So I'm determined to see as many as I can and find out if this is my "100% compatible" film festival. How many have you seen? Any disappointment?
