From Mildly Amusing to Laugh Out Loud - Page 4

Reading does not have to be serious. All of these books have humor in them. Some are totally fluffy - the best examples are Jeeves and Wooster and Cold Comfort Farm. Others tackle tough topics with humor, such as Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs about death and Get Well Soon about deadly epidemics.
The top 15 are my overall favorites. I have read all these and my top votes go to:
- Funniest series and writer overall: Discworld by Terry Pratchett. He writes fantasy with hilarious results and real-world implications.
- Funniest audiobook: if you listen to just one audiobook in your life, it should be Born A Crime by Trevor Noah. Laugh out loud, touching and educational, this memoir has it all.
- Most hilarious single piece of literature of all time: The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. Total fluff but ridiculously clever!
Enjoy :)
