An expansion on the first list I made of movies that I often hear bashed in person and online for being too puerile, juvenile, pretentious, confusing, or what have you. I feel like a lot of the films on this list in particular suffer from being characterized as 'not as good as the first one'.
Maybe you've heard of some of these and were dissuaded from seeing them because of their 'bad' reputation, but you really ought to give them a try. You might not like all of them, but I think by-and-large most people that see these films end up enjoying them quite a bit, and if you give them a shot they might surprise you.
