French Foods and Drinks

This is not intended to be a completely exhaustive list; I am aware that there are many other types of cheese, wine, etc. that I could have put in but didn't. However, I do think I have included many of the items which are most well-known to those outside of France, plus some less well-known ones. As a bonus, at the end I've included a selection of items from overseas departments, regions and collectivities of France, e.g. French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion, Mayotte and French Polynesia (plus New Caledonia, which has its own special status).
