The Fly the Bay State Challenge is designed to encourage pilots to fly or drive to all of the participating airports in Massachusetts as well as attend at least one FAA safety seminar.
Participating pilots will receive a Passport Book, which they will bring to airports throughout our state. At each airport a rubber stamp with the airport's name and identifier will be available to verify the visit in the Passport Book.
The Fly the Bay State Challenge provides Bronze, Silver and Gold level recognition for pilots who accomplish each level. Pilots and aviation enthusiasts will get to see the valuable assets that are Massachusetts' system of airports. As they set and meet goals in their flying and sightseeing, participants will also have fun and learn more about the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
