Finn's Kidlit Shelf - Page 2

"Kidlit" is here defined as books that were either written for or which are enjoyed or beloved by kids, with the understanding that some authors may not have intended that as their primary audience.
I have a degree in children's literature and am a former children's library worker; this list was made by sitting in my bed and looking at my bookshelf across the room.
Note: possibly my favorite contemporary picture book is excluded from this list because its title makes it functionally unsearchable. Please add or subtract one from your score for What is Love? Written by Mac Barnett and Illustrated by Carson Ellis.
