Films That Cinema Seeker Nominated for the National Film Registry in 2022 - Page 2

Each year members of the public are allowed to nominate up to 50 films to be added to the National Film Registry. Members of the public submit these nominations through a form at the Library of Congress website. The nominated films must be American films that haven't already been selected for the Registry. They can be any length and can be either fiction or non-fiction. Films that get nominated by many different people get extra consideration from the panel that eventually recommend the 25 "winners" each year to the Librarian of Congress. These are the 50 films that I nominated as part of the 2022 nomination process that ends on 8/15/22. The 25 films eventually selected for 2022 should be announced sometime in December. The "cover photo" for this list is from S-73, a short film by Charles and Ray Eames.
