Fifty Books You Might Have Missed

These are excellent books that, for whatever reason, don't have the acclaim and adulation they deserve. Some of these books were overshadowed by other books that came out at the same time. Some were bestsellers when they were written, but have since gone out of fashion. Some were written by well-known authors, but outside of the author's usual genre. Some are classics in their own country, but aren't read often outside of their country of origin. They are books that were aimed at different groups - picture books, children's books, young adult books, books written for adults - but they all deserve love. *Note* I live in America, so some of these books may be popular elsewhere. I don't know about that; I just know that when I recommend these books to people, they haven't heard of them.
