Atlas Obscura is one of the largest, most well-known and most impeccably awesome archives of amazing places, foods and experiences in the world.
Here is their list of places to see in the Dominican Republic! From a renowned restaurant tucked in a cave, to the possible resting place of Christopher Columbus, to the oldest cathedral in the Americas built in 1512, to a collection of fossils, animals and plants encased in amber, the Dominican Republic is a great place to spend a vacation! How many of these interesting places have you been to?
