Atlas Obscura is one of the largest, most well-known and most impeccably awesome archives of amazing places, foods and experiences in the world.
Here is their list of places to see in Albania! From the spawn of crossing a mayor and a painter, to hundreds of Cold War bunkers scattered all over the country, to a medieval bridge crossing over a sulfur-rich river leading to year-round hot springs, to a crumbling wreck of a monument to communism smack in the middle of Tirana, Albania is rich with history new and old, and some awesome natural wonders! How many of these cool spots have you been to?
Note: Some of these you cannot visit or see anymore, which have been marked with (Permanently Closed). So therefore, if you haven't already seen them, I don't know if you'll ever be able to completely finish this list.
