Ideas changed, tastes changed, but Neon Genesis Evangelion is still the greatest show of all time with The End of Evangelion being the greatest cinematic achievement of all time. With that said, anyone who is a fan of the series, and the films (including the rebuilds) will definitely be satisfied with these recommendations. Whether they share the same message, aesthetic, themes, visuals, or philosophies, it is certain (for me) that they are all beautiful, artistic masterpieces.
