This is a list of each year's best horror film, from 1919 to 2022. Not included here are any lost films, nor any films where the only surviving prints are unavailable to the public for viewing. Also, admittedly, a couple or so films here are only the least worst of their respective years.
2023 will not be included, as of course the year is far from over, as of this list's publication. Also, only a few horror films before 1919 had been made and have subsequently survived, hence why the list starts at 1919 and not earlier.
