Dystopian/Apocalyptic - NO YA or Teen Books!

If you, like me, are a fan of this style of fiction but are tired of lists that are over-run with teen series, then this list is for you. Some of the Young Adult dystopia is very good - don't get me wrong. But let's face it, there is SO MUCH of it now that they can quickly hijack a list. I wanted to make one for those of us that haven't dipped too far back into all that teen angst.
A few caveats:
* A lot of this I haven't gotten to, and some I've read and disliked. This list is by no means a recommendation for all the books included. Nor is it "complete" - I got tired at 140, looking at more and more obscure titles.
* I have not included some books that I don't feel fit the genres (*cough* Dune, Hyperion *cough*). Feel free to disagree, or better yet make your own List that I can enjoy.
* Yes, I know Phillip K. Dick has more. I gave up on finding them all.
* When you get into apocalyptica, an entire list could be made of zombie fiction. I included a representative few.
HAVE FUN!
