Dennis Wheatley Library of the Occult - Page 2

The following books were published between 1974-1977 by Sphere. All were selected by Dennis Wheatley(1897-1977), the one-time "Prince of Thriller Writers' whose later books were mainly occult adventures. He also wrote intros for each one and contributed at least to "Satanism & Witchcraft", though none of his novels like "To the Devil a Daughter" or "The Devil Rides Out" were included. Besides horror classics like "Dracula" & "Frankenstein", there were several non-fiction books & some novels little-know today. I have a third of the series, & look forward to hopefully getting Guy Endore's "The Werewolf of Paris' as it was recommended in Leonard Wolf's "Horror:A Connoisseur's Guide", another list I'm working on. The books are hard to find, so any edition counts on this list. I was lucky to find pics for all titles, though I'd have preferred the other cover for Fortune Telling by Cards. Unfortunately it wasn't big enough.
