Click-O-Rama: Markd9528's Huge List of Works for the Cognoscenti (D-H) - Page 5

A challenge that rewards those of you that have read widely in the "classics". It might also offer suggestions for further reading from among the works of your favourite authors (that's how I tend to use the lists I create).
This is the 3rd part of my "magnum opus", concentrating on literary fiction but also featuring important works of nonfiction, such as those of Nietzsche, David McCullough and Gore Vidal. The list is drawn from multiple sources including thegreatestbooks.org, Goodreads & my own specialised lists.
Alphabetical by author's given name(s) (because of the quirky sort algorithm on this site). In this instalment given names starting with D-H are covered. Series in order as per Goodreads.
Feel free to offer suggestions of books you think should be on a future update. I hope you enjoy the many new icons, especially those for Kafka's works.
