Classics Michael Has Caught During COVID

With theaters being shut down and not many new viewing options during COVID, I've taken the opportunity to catch up with some classics that have been deemed "essential" (plus I got on a WWI kick that included some stellar documentary series about the causes, the war itself, and its legacy on the 20th Century). Some that jumped out at me were the majesty and beauty of the cinematography of The Passion of Joan of Arc, the wonderfully nuanced performance of Humphrey Bogart in High Sierra, the maddening brilliance of Paths of Glory, the creepiness of the emotionless mask in Eyes Without A Face, and Harry Lime's smile as he steps out of the shadows in The Third Man.
