Classic Comedies From the Golden Age of Hollywood - Page 2

The comedies of the 1920s through the 1950s were some of the funniest movies ever made. Here are 53 feature films, plus Laurel & Hardy's "The Music Box", which to my mind is the perfect comedy short and is included to represent all the great short subjects. I have limited this list to films made by Hollywood during the Golden Age of the studio system, which I have defined as being between 1920 and 1960. Films made after 1960, and films made outside of Hollywood, like the great Ealing Studio comedies of the 1950s in Britain, deserve lists of their own.
