Cities With the Worst Hotels
Some cities just can't get it together. I've tried staying at different hotels but these towns just can't deliver. Some places, like New York, Honolulu & Las Vegas, don't make the list, because you get what you pay for there. These are the cities where it doesn't matter what you pay, you will get the smell of smoke in the non-smoking rooms, the inexplicable wet stains on the carpet,, the bathtubs with no stoppers, the air conditioners that rattle all night long... if they work. It's the clogs they can't fix, the 2 a.m. fire alarm, the curtains that won't close and it's the awful, awful staff. I'd have a cold beer and grin and bear it, but, of course, there's no ice machine.
