Sorry, but I'm totally unable to play the game of the ten best films - just as I would be for the ten best anything ... I hate competition anyway, and my list, had I the time to think of it, would vary from one minute to the next, among the hundreds of films that at one moment, for one reason or another (generally another), were of utmost importance to me. All I can say is, if there was one film to single out of the crowd, that would be Vertigo ...
