It has become a personal tradition to meditate, reflect, and thoughtfully rank my personal favorite 100 films every 2 years. Here is this year's list of the films that are (good or bad) closest to my heart. This is not a list of objective quality, but of what strength of feeling I have for a film. As such, the list shifts constantly. I have moved Jaws to the number 1 spot over the Buddy Holly Story who has been #1 since I started this tradition. Also, 2019 was a strong year for film.
