CBR's the Weirdest Biopics, Ranked

Movie biopics have never been so popular. Films such as Oppenheimer and Elvis have blown audiences away, with the former winning seven Oscars including "Best Picture." Pop Tarts will be one of the next subjects to receive the biopic treatment, courtesy of Jerry Seinfeld. Empire Magazine recently published a promo image from the upcoming motion picture, depicting Hugh Grant dressed as Tony The Tiger. The Pop Tarts biopic is set to be one of the most bizarre around, leaving moviegoers to share similarly strange films in the genre.
Sometimes, the most entertaining biopics are the ones that don't stay true to the original story. By taking creative liberties, these strange pieces of cinema represent some of the most bold and imaginative productions around. These movies offer a completely different experience for fans of the topics they cover, ensuring that audiences leave the theater believing they have experienced something new, rather than watching a straight retelling of a story.
