Caldecott Medal and Honor Books

This is a list of Caldecott Medal and Honor Books. The Caldecott Medal is given annually to recognize the preceding year's most distinguished American picture book for children. The award started in 1938 and this list currently goes to 2015. I plan to update the list periodically. Note: This is the wrong Barkis. The Barkis that won the Caldecott Honor was by Clare Turlay Newberry.
