B's 100 Favorite Books (Updated)

I have previously posted on here a list of both my 100 and 200 favorite books. Since then, I have read a great many excellent books that I feel need to be included. My opinions have not changed drastically on the books that I had already read, although there have been some changes to order and what has made it into this list. As is evident, I have a bend towards more contemporary books, although classics do make a decent standing. I just do not subscribe to the idea that the "greatest books" have to be decades or centuries old, largely written by white men. I think that it is important to look at books from different perspectives, and different time periods. If the only books that you would look to for greatness are those of the established canon, then you are missing so much excellent writing from other areas and time periods, as well as genres. Anyway, this is all entirely opinion based, and my ranking changes constantly. For now though, these are my favorite books.
