Brit Lit in 100 Books - Page 2

Our compiler has taught British Literature for the last 17 years (and Theatre for the last 25) and thought this would make an interesting challenge. Boiling the whole of British Lit. down to 100 books was no easy task given how much had to be left out. For the purposes of this list Our compiler defined British Literature as literature written in the English language by authors from or primarily associated with the United Kingdom and/or Ireland. Hence, no Beckett, Coetzee, Shute, or Atwood, to name but a few.
