Books That Were Popular With Gen-X Teens and Tweens - Page 6

Most of these are written for teens, but I was very interested in these books at a much younger age. The majority were published in the 1970s and made up most of the YA selection in the public library when I was perusing them in the mid-80s. Most were the novel equivalent of after-school specials on television: teens experiencing problems with love, school, siblings, growing up, psychological issues, and substance abuse. I love the often-goofy 1970s graphic design, and tried to find those versions whenever possible.
