This list is dedicated to my husband and soulmate Peter Kellett who died January 29, 2017. My grief journey has been long, excruciating, lonely, and shattering with occasional glimpses of insight, transformation and peace. One thing that has been constant is my unending love for Peter which continually deepens and takes on new forms with each passing year. I have found the most meaningful way for me to love Peter now is through books, a passion that we shared and profoundly shaped our life together. With love, I share these books that have helped me process grief and death, provided comfort, and allowed me to feel less alone in my grief as I see myself in the stories of others, both fictional and real. There are many children's books because I find their simplicity speaks to me when I am not capable of taking in much else.
I hope you find some comfort here.
