Books by L. Frank Baum

L. Frank Baum, famous for his Oz books and other fantasies, was an extremely prolific author from the 1880s until his death in 1919. Best known for the Oz series, he was so prolific that his publisher encouraged him to use pseudonyms both to look like they published more authors and so that he would not appear to be stretched too thin. These are all of the extant book-length works of Baum (not including briefer posthumous collections of shorter works). The plays listed here are all extant although largely unpublished, but can be obtained from research libraries. Works are presented in approximately chronological order (I was not able to obtain release dates more precise than the year for some of the lesser-known works). Lost novels include King Rinkitink (1905), Phil Daring's Experiment, The Flying Girl's Brave Venture, Our Married Life, Johnson (all 1912), The Mystery of Bonita (1914), and Molly Oodle (1915).
