Bob's 10 Favorite Hip-Hop Albums

I swear Im not trying to rip off Hollis Frampton. The Black Album is a triumphant album that proves to everyone that soul can't be stopped. The College Dropout is a rebellious love letter to life. All Eyez On Me is the astonishing snapshot of a troubled and soon-to-be-gone man, not to mention the greatest gangsta rap album ever made. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is a glorious, echoey masterpiece that transcends hip-hop altogether. Tha Carter III is an out-of-this-world look into the mind of someone alienated from everything else. The Marshall Mathers LP is the aggressive middle-finger to everyone who just needs to shut up. The Predator is a booming and in-your-face take on politics and socio-economic relations. Doggystyle is one big, funky, sexy joke of an album that gets better with every listen. Ready to Die is the relentless, brutal, and somehow bittersweet poetry of a god on earth. And Because the Internet is music that defines this very era we live in right now. Hip-hop, bro.
