...to continue Tamara Tillinghast Haskett's fabulous List "Billboard Number 1 Hits, 1940-2018" (at https://www.listchallenges.com/billboard-number-1-hits-1940-2018), and my Lists, Billboard Number 1 Hits, 2019-2021, 2022, & 2023, here are the #1's from 2024 (not including any seasonal/Christmas songs that hit the top spot around holiday time: usually "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey is now a perennial chart topper as it did for 3 weeks and a few days at the end of 2024). Also, chart watchers may be looking for "Lovin On Me" by Jack Harlow, but this song first hit #1 in 2023 so it's on that list (and it also spent 5 weeks at #1 in 2024).
Chart fact: "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by Shaboozey spent the longest time at the top spot in 2024, with 19 non-consecutive weeks - tying Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus), which previously held the longest reign in the Billboard Hot 100 chart's 66-year history.
