Bands/Artists You May Not Know Are Still Making Music

I was raised on 70s and 80s rock, and have kept tabs on the artists and looked out for newer releases from them. You may be surprised not only that some of these bands still make original music, but at just how good some of it is. Some bands like Queensryche and Stryper have had a creative renaissance this decade and are putting out some of their best work nowadays. Some have made it back to mainstream and charted again like Bon Jovi, while some have become niched things on the sidelines that many of their original fans may not even know about. Criteria for this list: A studio album released as recently as the past ten years or current work being done on an album. No live or best of compilations count (unless the compilation has brand new tracks with the old ones), the artist has to be making new original music.
