Arlo's Top 100 Films (As of March 2024) - Page 2

When I first got the letterboxd in 2023 or so I spent a couple of days consulting imdb's top films for each decade from the 50s forward to try and populate my profile with a comprehensive list of Every Film I have Ever Seen, I also assigned rankings to them. 3 star is good, and anything I didn't remember feeling strongly positively or negatively got that as a base and all movies seen in childhood also started there. 3.5 is a damn good time, 4 and 4.5 star films had something special about them either cinematically, musically, emotionally, or through storytelling that made them stand out further and 5 star films are ones where I think just about every element came together perfectly. I don't think there's anything below a 4 star rating on this list.
