April 2020 TBR

I didn't get many items marked off in March; I took on a big ghostwriting project and had to read multiple books for research. I also stress-played a lot of sudoku and ditched a bunch of books from the list that I no longer felt like reading anymore. My favorite book read in March was Black No More by George S. Schuler, a 1931 SF satire written during the Harlem Renaissance. Recommend if you like irony and swagger. Second favorite was Exhalation by Ted Chiang, a collection of brainy but moving SF tales. Cover image from Monday Starts on Saturday; listening to that on audio already and it's excellent (and funny). Give it a try if you liked the Laundry Files series by Charles Stross.
